Where could I actually go?

Ten Protestant sending agencies publish their open roles. Nobody publishes them together, so the honest answer has always meant visiting ten sites and learning ten vocabularies. Here they are in one place — 1,574 openings, read from the agencies' own catalogs.

Three of the biggest senders publish no list at all.

Wycliffe, Cru and YWAM run a conversation-first funnel: pick a category, fill a form, wait for a coach. There is nothing to index. Two more, Pioneers and OM USA, keep real catalogs behind a security service that refuses automated requests. What you can search here is what agencies chose to publish openly.

Long-term, mid-term, associate

Long-term means two years and up, and usually implies language study first. Mid-term is one to two. Associate is most agencies' word for a one-to-two-year commitment with lighter requirements — often the realistic first step. Where a row says not stated, the agency published no length; ask them.

Support raising

Nearly every role here is funded by supporters you gather yourself, not a salary from the agency. Expect several months of it before you leave. Agencies coach you through this, and they will tell you the monthly figure early — ask on the first call.

“Church planting” and other agency words

Church planting means starting new congregations where few exist. Member care is looking after missionary families. BAM (business as mission) is running a real business as the ministry. Mobilization is recruiting at home rather than serving abroad.

What happens when you enquire

Clicking a role takes you to the agency's own page. Most ask for a short form, then a call. Nobody expects you to be certain — enquiring is not applying. You can talk to three agencies at once, and probably should.

Every row comes from the agency's own public website — their published feeds where they offer one, their catalog pages otherwise. Nothing here is written by us.

Their words, our labels

Titles, countries and terms are the agency's own. Region and ministry labels are ours, mapped from their taxonomies so ten vocabularies search as one. Where an agency states no term, the row says so instead of guessing. Where it gave no ministry, the label is read off the title and marked inferred.

We link out, only

No applications, no accounts, nothing collected about you. Anything you save stays in your own browser. Roles close without notice, so confirm on the agency's page before you plan around a listing.
